~*We took our Reading NWEA this morning.  The students worked really hard!  Tomorrow we will be taking the Math NWEA.  Please make sure your Chromebooks are charged and that you eat a good breakfast.*~

Dear Parents and Students,

Homework:

Math: Workbook p. 3 only the even numbers.  Practice your multiplication facts.

Spelling:  Students took their Unit 2 Pretest yesterday.  If you earned a 100%, please sign and return this test paper.  If you sign and return your test, then you DO NOT need to take the Unit 2 test on Friday.

Unit 2 work is due on Thursday 9/17.  We will take our Unit 2 Spelling test on Friday 9/18.

Phonics:  Complete pages 15-18 in your binders by Friday 9/18.

Upcoming Events:

~This Friday 9/18 is "Gold" tag day.  This tag day is special because it will raise funds to help battle childhood cancer.  All donations will be sent to Goryeb Children's Hospital in Morristown.  This is a separate tag day than the 8th grade class fundraiser.  Please send in a donation and you can dress down on Friday 9/18.

Math: We completed the IXL diagnostic in class today.  Besides practicing your multiplication facts, there is no homework in Math.

Spelling:  Unit 2 work is due on Thursday 9/17.  We will take our Unit 2 Spelling test on Friday 9/18.
