*Starting Monday, as a school, we will saying a decade of the rosary each morning at morning assembly. Please send your child in with rosaries for the entire month of October.

*Next Thursday, October 4th, your child may bring in their family bible to be blessed by Fr. Miguel.

*Starting Monday the children will be writing in cursive for all work.  We will continue to use our handwriting books to reinforce the cursive alphabet.

We are off to a great start! We have quite a few things happening this week so please make sure you take note of the REMINDERS at the end of this post!

Remind the children to plan ahead for Homework! We discussed in class how important it is to do a few Spelling/Phonics pages a night!

Please make sure your child comes to school with all of their Homework complete each day.  We will discuss more about the Homework policies at Back to School Night.

Homework:

Spelling: Unit 2 due THURSDAY. Test on Unit 2 this Friday. Please SIGN and RETURN Unit 1 test.

Phonics: Complete pages 10-14 for FRIDAY.

Religion: Test Wednesday! A study guide was completed in class this past Friday. We will play Jeopardy in class to reinforce the chapter!

Math: Workbook page 4.

Language Arts: Please SIGN and RETURN Winn-Dixie Quiz.
Reading Street Workbook page 14, if not completed in class.

*Permission slips for the Service Dog assembly are due! Don't forget your dog treats/toys for that day!

*Back to School Night is this Thursday. Doors open at 6:30pm. Band meeting is also at 6:30 pm.

We had a GREAT first day!

Hello All!

We had a great first day in 4th grade! We are unpacked, organized and ready for a great year ahead!

Homework:

The children brought home a Bible and two workbooks to be covered in clear contact paper. Please do so as soon as you can. If you do not get to it tonight, please send them back uncovered as we will be using our books right away. Your child will bring them home each night to give you time to cover them. If all books could be covered by September 20th, that would be great!

Please have your child bring a water bottle to school each day!
