Thursday May 9th



Homework:

Math:  Chapter 8 Post test.  We will take our Chapter 8 test on Monday.

IXL 15 minute work is due tomorrow.

Spelling:  Unit 31 test is tomorrow.

Phonics:  Complete pages 132-137 by tomorrow.

Social Studies:  We completed our Chapter 5 study guides in class yesterday.  Due to the concert practice we will play Jeopardy on Friday and take our Chapter 5 test on Monday.  County project rough drafts are due by Thursday May 16th.



Upcoming Events:

-We have our theme tag day tomorrow.  Our class is coming to school dressed as the game "Pac Man."  Each student knows what they are in the game.  They must wear an appropriate colored shirt and pants.  Make sure you bring in your dollar to dress down.

-Our Spring concert is Friday May 10th.  Band members need to be at school by 6:30, all others by 6:45.  The concert will begin promptly at 7:00.

-Our Lake Hopatcong trip is on Wednesday May 15th.  This trip will be during the school day and requires normal drop off/pick up that day.  Students must wear their gym uniforms with socks and sneakers.

-Our Trip to the American Museum of Natural History is on Friday May 17th.

-If you are interested in participating in our St. Therese Summer Camp, please send your registration in as soon as possible.  It is a fun way to learn and play over the summer with your friends.

Math:  Workbook p. 102.

I am assigning 15 minutes of IXL work at home over the next week.  I will check everyone's IXL accounts to make sure you completed the 15 minutes every Friday.  This will continue to be a weekly assignment.  You must also complete your IXL math work on our level.

Spelling:  Unit 29 is due Thursday.  Unit 29 test is on Friday.

Phonics:  Complete pages  127 - 131 by Friday.

English:  Workbook p. 59.

Language Arts:  Complete the "What a Character!" worksheet if you did not complete it in class this morning.
