Monday January 6th

Homework:

Math: Workbook p. 68.  Complete your work on the separate piece of paper and write your answers in your workbooks.  Make sure you bring your work paper back to school tomorrow.  We will take a quiz on the Order of Operations and Finding the Mean on Thursday.

Spelling:  Unit 15 work is due on Thursday.  Unit 15 test is on Friday.

Phonics:  Complete pages  by Friday.

English:  Formal Letters are due by Friday.

Religion:  We will take our Chapter 4 test on Wednesday 1/8.

Social Studies:  Wax Museum letters and report options were sent home today.  Please fill out the paper on who you would like to report on and return it to school as soon as possible.  You may also research a person that was born in or lived in New Jersey that is not on the list (Mrs. Rowland must give you the okay to research this person.).

Upcoming Events:

-Tag Day is this Friday 1/10.  The theme is "Super Hero."  If you dress down please remember to bring in your dollar.  This helps support the eighth grade class in their graduation year.

-The 2nd Marking Period will end on Friday January 24th.  Please make sure you check Rediker for any work that may be missing.

-The Makerspace club will not meet until Wednesday January 15th.

-Scholastic Orders are due by Friday January 24th.

-First Friday Mass is tomorrow at 11 a.m.  The STS teacher's are giving this mass.  Fourth grade will be in charge of the mass that closes Catholic Schools Week.

Friday December 20th

I just wanted to extend a warm wish for a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.  I am so blessed to be able to teach you all.  I am lucky to be able to share in your knowledge, growth, and good humor.  I also feel blessed that I am able to teach at the best school in the world, St. Therese School.  

Have a wonderful rest of 2019 and I will see you in the new decade, 2020!!

~Tomorrow is our last days for our Advent Angels activity.  Please try to bring something in for your PreK 4 buddies.~

Upcoming Events:

-The Christmas concert is tonight.  Band members should arrive by 6:30 and everyone else by 6:45.  The concert will begin at 7:00 p.m.

-Tomorrow, Friday December 20th is a half day of school.  There will be NO aftercare.  Please make arrangements for tomorrow since there will be no one here to watch the children after dismissal.
