Math:  Practice your multiplication facts for 15 minutes each day.  

Spelling:  Unit 9 is due on Thursday.  Unit 9 test will be taken on Friday.

Phonics:  Please complete pages 39, 40, 41, and 43 by Friday.

Science:  Start saving some cardboard for a STEM project we will do next week.  Please bring this cardboard in by Monday November 1st.

Upcoming Events:

~Our first Friday mass is November 5th.  This mass starts at 8:30 a.m.  All parents are welcome to attend.

~Our Halloween celebration and parade will be held tomorrow, Friday October 29th.  Students may come in with their costumes on or in their bags.  The parade will be held at 1:30 in the afternoon that day.  All parents are welcome to attend the parade, which will be held rain or shine.

~If you are taking your child home directly after the Halloween parade, you must send in a not in the morning.

~*We really enjoyed our virtual field trip today to Cabot Farms in the state of Maine today!  We even had one of our questions answered live.  Please ask about all the fun things we learned about life on a dairy farm.*~

Science:  We started our book reviews for our "Makeup of the Earth" chapter yesterday in class.  The assignment is taped into our Science notebooks and it is on Google Classroom.  These are due by tomorrow.  Our Makeup of the Earth test will be taken on Tuesday 10/26.

~October Scholastic book orders are due by tomorrow, Friday October 22nd.  You can order online using our classroom code JDD2N.  You can also order by paying with a check made payable to Scholastic.

~Out October tag day is tomorrow, Friday 10/22.  Please bring in a dollar and wear Halloween colors or print to help support the eighth grade class.~
