Homework:
Math: Workbook p. 10.
Spelling: Unit 2 test will be taken tomorrow.
Phonics: Complete pages 10-14 by tomorrow.
English: Complete workbook p. 9.
Language Arts: We will take our quiz on the selection "Because of Winn Dixie" tomorrow. If you didn't complete a center today, you must do so for homework tonight.
Religion: We will complete our Chapter 1 study guide together as a class tomorrow. We will play Chapter 1 Jeopardy on Monday and take our Chapter 1 test on Tuesday.
Other: Please return the band "try outs" form by tomorrow.
Upcoming Events:
-Our September tag day is tomorrow, Friday September 20th. The theme is to wear blue to promote kindness and combat bullying. Please bring in your dollar and dress down to support the eighth grade class.
-If your child is interested in joining the STS drama club, please reach out to Rachel Yudoff. Drama club sign ups end this Friday. Please text your name and grade to her at 201-788-8532.
-Our class Scholastic orders are due on Friday 9/30. If you would like to order any books through Scholastic, you can go online and enter our classroom code JDD2N. Or you can write a check to Scholastic and include the order form.
