  • Make sure you have 3 different headings, St. Therese School, Coyote School, and Both.
  • Under St. Therese, list at least 5 things you know about our school (in complete sentences.)
  • Under Coyote School, list at least 5 things you know about this school (in complete sentences.)
  • Under Both, list at least 5 things that these schools have in common.
  • Don’t forget correct Capitalization, punctuation, sentence structure, and spelling.

English:

Religion:
  • We will still continue our daily Bible reading during the season of Lent, it will just look a little differently than what we normally see in the classroom.
  • Our reading for the day comes from John 8:51-59.
    • 51 Very truly I tell you, whoever obeys my word will never see death.”
    • 52 At this they exclaimed, “Now we know that you are demon-possessed! Abraham died and so did the prophets, yet you say that whoever obeys your word will never taste death. 53 Are you greater than our father Abraham? He died, and so did the prophets. Who do you think you are?”
    • 54 Jesus replied, “If I glorify myself, my glory means nothing. My Father, whom you claim as your God, is the one who glorifies me. 55 Though you do not know him, I know him. If I said I did not, I would be a liar like you, but I do know him and obey his word. 56 Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad.”
    • 57 “You are not yet fifty years old,” they said to him, “and you have seen Abraham!”
    • 58 “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!” 59 At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds.
  • Take the Chapter 10 test that your parents picked up at St. Therese on Tuesday.

Social Studies:
  • As per our Meet, you must come up with something that relates to the state of New Jersey using the letter of the alphabet I gave you.  You are to find pictures of it, information on it, links on the internet about it. Make sure you put everything you write in your own words.  This work is due by Friday 4/3.
  • Take this extra time now that I am giving you to complete this project.  There is nothing additional for you to do for Social Studies or Science today, but to finish this project and share it with me.

Early Finishers:
Finished early?  Want something fun or challenging to do?  Find below a list of things you can do when you are done with our regular class/home work.

  • Explore the Science and Social Studies section on IXL.
  • If you’re interested in the world of coding, go to the following site.  Free for grades K-12. https://code.org/
  • Have you always wanted to be an astronaut or see how they train?  Watch this virtual tour of NASA. https://youtu.be/gk0ijHIP3hw
  • Please check the Art and Spanish blog and complete the assignments that have been put up.
