E-Learning Lessons:

Math: 
  • Read p. 430 on Dividing with Money.  
  • We are going to spend our Meet time today focusing on this lesson so be prepared with your book and scrap paper.
  • Complete #1-8, #15-20, and #27-30.
  • Then complete workbook p. 162.


Spelling:
  • This week’s Unit is Unit 32.  Complete p. 198 today.
    • Words with the Vowel Consonant Consonant Vowel (VCCV) pattern go in the top section.  Like “capture”.
    • Words with the Vowel Consonant Vowel (VCV) pattern go in the bottom section.  Like “wagon”.


Phonics:
  • Complete page 166 in cursive.


Language Arts:
  • Our new selection is “So You Want to be President?”
  • Read p. 242-243 on the Vocabulary Strategy for Unfamiliar Words.
  • Give me the definitions for the 7 vocabulary words for this selection (vain, politics, humble, solemnly, howling, Constitution, and responsibility).
    • Make sure you have the heading “So You Want to be President?”, your name, and you highlight each vocabulary word.
  • Share this Doc with me.
  • Then complete workbook p. 94


English:
  • Read page 418 in your English textbooks.  This is a lesson on Verb Phrases.  
  • Complete Exercise #1 by writing the italicized word and the verb that helps it along.  For example, #1 would be “am reading”.
  • Then complete workbook p. 79.
