E-Learning Lessons:

Math:

Spelling:
  • We will be completing Review Unit 30 this week.  Pages 186-188 are due on Friday May 8th.  You can complete these pages whenever you want this week.  But they must be done by Friday morning because we will be reviewing them at our Meet.

Phonics:
  • Complete page 157 in cursive.

Language Arts:
  • Our new selection is “Marven of the Great North Woods.”
  • Read pages 214-215 with our new vocabulary words.
  • Create a Google Doc with the vocabulary words and their definitions and share it with me. (Make sure you have the title “Marven of the Great North Woods”, your name, and you have highlighted the vocabulary words.)
  • Then complete workbook p. 84 #1-10.

English:
  • Journal Write:  Mother’s Day is this Sunday May 10th.  We are going to write something to celebrate our Mother’s and all that they do for us!
  • Here is the prompt “What do you love about your mother and why do you love that about her?”
  • Your journal write should be at least 3 indented paragraphs with 5 sentences in each.  Each paragraph should be a different thing you love about your mother and why.
  • I have created the Doc I would like you to use.  Please copy and paste what I made and then start your draft.  https://docs.google.com/document/d/1TpFX6WFKKmYyeFHELZr1PI5eYFtqLEnuxNMNeYCeNwQ/edit?usp=sharing
  • You will share your rough draft with me sometime this week.  I will look it over and add comments to your Doc and send it back to you.  It should be all edited and completed by Mother’s Day so you can give this to all of your wonderful Mothers.
  • This Journal Write is due in its entirety on Friday May 8th.
