 ~*With the dew lasting longer on the grass each morning it is harder to do outside learning.  Please send a towel in a plastic or reusable shopping bag.  The students can use these to sit on while we complete our outdoor learning.*~

Homework:

Math:  Workbook p. 8 #1, 3, and 5 only.  Please take your time.  We are using the subtraction strategy that we worked on today in class.  

Please practice your multiplication facts for at least 15 minutes each evening.  

Spelling:  Unit 3 work is due on Thursday.  Unit 3 test will be taken on Friday.  Sign and return any Pretest if you earned a 100%.

Phonics:  Workbook p. 11-14 are due Friday.

English:  Workbook p. 9.

Language Arts:  Final drafts of our Journal Writes are due on Friday.

Upcoming Events:

~Pizza money by Friday.  Two slices of pizza costs $3.00.  Exact change is greatly appreciated.

~Tag Day is on Friday 9/25.  We are all wearing yellow to acknowledge Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.  All money raised will go to the wonderful Walsh family.  You must bring in a dollar to dress down, but please consider donating more to benefit this wonderful cause.

-Gym uniforms can be worn the whole month of September.  

-Update:  Picture Day is on Wednesday September 30th.  School uniforms MUST be worn on this day.  

-Scholastic orders are due by Friday September 25th.  Our classroom code is JDD2N if you would like to order online.
