Dear Parents and Students,
~Tomorrow we are going to meet with our PreK 4 buddies for a buddy snack. Please make sure you brought in a towel or blanket to sit on. Also, bring in a short/small book that you can read to and share with your buddy.~
Homework:
Math: Complete p. 8. For tonight's Making Change homework we will be focusing on Making Change by subtracting tonight. Please show your work and write your answers on the piece of white lined paper from your workbooks.
Practice your multiplication facts for at least 15 minutes a day.
Spelling: Unit 4 work is due on Thursday. We will take our Unit 4 Pretest on Monday.
Phonics: Please complete pages 17, 18, 19, and 21 by Friday.
English: Complete workbook p. 9.
Language Arts: We will take our "Lewis and Clark and Me" quiz on Friday 10/1.
Religion: We will begin praying a decade of the rosary starting 10/1. We will pray this the entire month of October. If you have a rosary you would like to pray on, please put it in a small plastic bag and bring it into school.
~At the beginning of the year we received Parish Religion books. We used these for the 1st Chapter. Our school Religion books are in, so I am sending these Parish Religion books home for you to keep. You can use these as an extra tool to help study for test and quizzes.~
Science: Please sign and return the Cookie Erosion permission slips by Friday 10/1. This gives permission for your child to work with and eat the Chips Ahoy cookies for our lab.
~Please bring a towel or small blanket in a reusable (not plastic) bag. We will use these to sit on when we have outside learning.~
Upcoming Events:
~The St. Therese Walk-A-Thon is on Thursday 9/30. Please wear your gym uniforms.
~Please return the St. Therese Walk-A-Thon fundraising paperwork as soon as possible. If our class raises the most money, we will lead the Walk-A-Thon!
~Our first Friday Mass is this Friday October 1st. Mass will start at 10:00 a.m. because it will be celebrated with Bishop Sweeney.
~Monthly pizza forms are due by Thursday 9/30.
