Dear Parents and Students,
Homework:
Math: Workbook p. 66 evens.
Spelling: We will take our Unit 19 test tomorrow.
Phonics: Complete pages 82-86 by tomorrow.
English: Student's must write down the name and address of a local "celebrity" to write a formal letter to. Celebrity status may include a local veterinarian, doctor, nurse, police officer, current member of the military or veteran, principal, etc. Students are allowed to write the the president of the United States.
Religion: We will take our Chapter 4 test on Monday. In the event that we may not have school, we will take the test on Tuesday.
Catholic Schools Week Events
Monday: Bring in a donation and dress down in blue to support the Troopers United Foundation.
Tuesday: Teacher luncheon.
Wednesday: If you bought the new Catholic Schools Week shirts or sweatshirts, you may wear these with pants of your choice. Our day starts off with the rescheduled Christmas brunch. In the afternoon we will observe our middle school students in their Wax Museum.
Thursday: Bring in a donation and dress down in red, white, and blue to support the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. We will have an 8th grade classroom takeover that afternoon.
Friday: To close out CSW we will have an 8:45 mass. We will have a fun Olympic Games afternoon!
Upcoming Events:
~Our January tag day is Friday 1/23. The theme is sports. If you did not pay for the year, please make sure to bring in your dollar on Friday.
~Snack stand will be held during lunch every Tuesday of the week.
~Pizza money for the second half of the school year is due by Wednesday, January 28th. You can find the forms on the STS website.
