Tuesday January 12th

Good Afternoon!  Here is a list of the things we covered today in class:


Math: p. 188-189 practicing division with four digit dividends.

Language Arts:  We read and discussed Chapter 15 in our Winn Dixie books.

English:  We reviewed for our Noun test.

Religion:  Took our Chapter 4 test.

Science:  We read p. B94-B97.



Please find below the homework that should be completed this afternoon.  Any worksheets should be held onto and will return back to school in two weeks.


Homework:


Math:  Workbook p. 65.

Spelling:  Unit 17 work is due on Thursday.  Unit 17 test is on Friday.

Phonics: Pages 74-77 are due on Friday.

English: Complete the Chapter 2 Pretest.  We will take our test on Nouns tomorrow.  Play “Sink or Sail” to review for your test tomorrow.  Here is the link: https://games.loyolapress.com/sos_g4_Nouns

Science: p. 93 in your packet.



Gym/Health: Our health class will be from 1:15-1:45 on Wednesdays.  The code to join is ‘stsgym’.

Spanish:  Class was held from 12:30-1:00 Monday 1/11.

Art:  Check Mrs. Viggiano’s blog for the assignment.  Email her your final project by taking a picture of it and forwarding it to art@stthereseroxbury.org

You all did a wonderful job today on our Meet.  Keep up the good work!!

Math: p. 186-187 practicing division with zeros.

Spelling:  Took our Chapter 17 Pretest and then reviewed the correctly spelled words.

Language Arts:  We read and discussed Chapter 14 in our Winn Dixie books.

Religion:  Played Chapter 4 Jeopardy to review for our Chapter 4 test tomorrow.

Social Studies:  We read p. 70-73.

Friday January 8th



As you all have heard, we are going virtual for the next two weeks of school.  I have informed the class that our school day will begin at 8:00 in the morning and will end at 12:00 for lunch.  Specials will inform me of the time the students will Meet with them on their specific specials day.  We reviewed today in class how to join our Meet through our Google Classroom.  Please find below a tentative schedule for subjects for the next two weeks.

Daily Subject Schedule

8:00- Math

9:00 - ELA

10:00 - Religion

11:00 - Social Studies/Science

12:00 Lunch


If we all work together we will do wonderful during this time of virtual learning!

English:  We will take our test on the Noun chapter on Tuesday.
