Language Arts:
- In a Google Doc, use a food guide pyramid to discuss a lumberjack’s breakfast.
- Read p. 224 again your your books.
- Type a list of the food items the lumberjacks eat for breakfast.
- Identify the food group for each of the food items. For example, “bacon” belongs in the meat group.
- Then answer the question, “Do you think the lumberjacks’ breakfast is a healthy was to eat?” Give me reasons to support your opinion.
English:
- Read page 416 in your English textbooks. This is a lesson on Helping Verbs. Watch the following videos on Helping Verbs for a better understanding:
- Complete Exercise #1 by writing the Helping Verb that is in the sentence.
- Then complete workbook p. 77.
Religion:
- I corrected Religion p. 143G and left comments on your Docs. If I asked you to fix something, please do and then resolve the comment. We will review this today in our Meet. Please try to edit this document before 1:45.
- Complete p. 152 in your books. Make sure you do the whole page, “Show What You Know” and “Picture This”.
Science:
- Our new Unit in Science is “Plant Structure and Function” which begins on p. A8.
- In a Google Doc, please write the heading “How are Plants Grouped?” and your name.
- Then write and define the vocabulary words from this lesson starting on p. A8 (reproduce, classify, conifer, and spore)
- Share this with me when you are done.
